Donations & Tribute Cards

Terms and Conditions

Both general donations and tribute card donations can be made securely online or over the phone by contacting our Tribute Card Coordinator.   All donations are considered final.  However, if you have a conflict or any other dispute pertaining to your transaction, we encourage you to contact us during regular business hours.

Online Donation Fulfillment

Your donation will be processed instantly once you have completed our online donation form through a secured payment system with Optimal Payments.  Our donation form is on web pages that are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.  The SSL encrypts your personal and payment information.

Donations are 100% tax receiptable.  Online transactions are receipted automatically with a copy of the e-receipt sent to your email account.  Please retain a copy of your e-receipt for your records.

Telephone Donation Fulfillment

Your donation will be processed within one to five business days. Processed is defined as the donation amount being processed on your credit card.  This same practice applies to payments provided by method of cheque or cash.

Donations are 100% tax receiptable.  Tax receipts are generated on a monthly basis at the beginning of each month. Please retain your official tax receipt for your records.

Tribute Card Donations

Online  

For each completed transaction, a copy of your transaction details (including your tribute card details such as the message, recipient, etc.) is sent to the Tribute Card Coordinator who will process the Tribute Card within one to two business days (with the exception of unforeseen circumstances).  

Telephone

The Tribute Card Coordinator processes Tribute Card requests on a daily basis from Monday to Friday (excluding office closures and statutory holidays).  We do our best to process as many Tribute Card requests between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  We accept Tribute Card requests via email and voicemail.   In cases where your call could not be answered, you may leave a detailed message or your contact information and we will do our utmost to call you back within the same day.

Donation Amount

Tribute Cards can be requested two ways:

Option 1:  Single cards for a minimum donation of $18

Option 2:  Request 18 or more cards in one transaction for a donation of $15 per card.

Please note that option 2 cannot be requested online.  You will need to contact us directly for this option.

Mailing of Cards  

Tribute cards are mailed through Canada Post and are subject to normal postal delays.  The postal fee is incorporated into the Tribute Card Program and is not charged back to you.
