How to Give / Become a Donor
Deciding to share your good fortune with others is a first step on the rewarding path of philanthropy. Like any meaningful journey, it's more likely to be successful if you have a clear direction in mind and an experienced guide you trust to help you along the way.
Our professional staff and dedicated volunteers at The Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation will work with you to develop a personalized philanthropic plan so you can achieve the greatest charitable impact and enjoy the most substantial tax benefits.
The Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation is an independent, trusted and objective source of information about our community's charitable needs. Our main focus is to assist and enable you to match your charitable interests with the needs of organizations and programs within the Jewish community and beyond that you wish to support. Our goal is to assist you in realizing your philanthropic aspirations.
All funds are named by the donors - in their own name or the name of a family member or valued friend. Some funds have names that convey a specific goal or purpose, or hold special meaning for the donor. Talk with us to determine what works best for you and your family.
