Allocation Changes

Are you a fund advisor to an OJCF fund and would like to change the beneficiary agency in which you currently support through your fund?  This can be done easily by following these simply steps:

Option #1:

You may provide us with your allocation instruction(s) by using our online PDF form.  This option will allow you to print and/or submit your instructions via email.

Option #2:

You may send us your allocation instructions manually by mail, fax, email or in person.

To provide your instruction(s) manually, please do the following:

  1. Write us a note with your new instructions.
  2. Include in your note the following:
    • the name of the fund to which the instructions apply to.
    • If you are supporting more than one agency, please indicate the percentage out of 100 that should be allocated to each agency.
    • sign and print your full name.
  3. Forward your written note by one of the following:
    mail
    in person
    fax
    email

Things to remember:

  • To provide allocation instructions you must be the appointed fund advisor.
  • To make an allocation change you must provide your instructions in writing.
  • Verbal instructions are not considered to be official until written instructions are received.
  • We can only disburse money to organizations with a registered Business number.  If we are unable to locate this information, we may require your assistance in providing us with the organization’s contact information and registered Business number.
  • The deadline for proving new instructions for the current calendar year is October 31st.
  • Instructions received after October 31st cannot be guaranteed and we shall do our best to honour your wishes, if possible.
  • Providing allocation instructions is only required when you want to make a change.
  • If no new instructions are provided, it is understood that the instructions remain the same.
