Opening A Fund
Why Open a Fund
You can establish a fund:
- to remember a loved one
- to mark an anniversary, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or birthday
- to honour an individual
- to ensure a strong community for future generations
Once your fund is established, contributions can be made by you, your family and friends by contacting our office or online. Donations to a fund can also be made through our Tribute Card Program.
You can allocate the income of your fund for the benefit of the entire community. You have the control to decide which organizations will receive what portion of the income from your fund.
How to Establish a Fund
A Fund can be created within the OJCF with a minimum endowment of $1000 in cash, stock, real estate or other property (or only $250 for a bar/bat mitzvah fund).
