Join us on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 for this year's Annual General Meeting

Time: Doors open at 7pm; Meeting called to order at 7:30pm

Location: Soloway JCC (Social Hall A)

The Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation (OJCF) holds an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the month of June each year.  The purpose of our annual meetings is to present to our members and to the public:

• OJCF highlights over the past year.
• The release of our new Annual Report.
• Acknowledge our new members who have joined the OJCF family through a deferred gift or by opening a fund.
• Present awards like the G.J. Cooper Scholarship.
• Recognition to our retiring Board members.
• Greetings from the Jewish Federation of Ottawa and remarks from our Chair and/or incoming Chair and President.
• An opportunity to socialize in a relaxing atmosphere (i.e. dessert reception).

The AGM also gives the OJCF and its membership the forum to conduct Foundation business, such as:

• Approving the minutes of the previous AGM.
• Electing incoming Board members.
• Electing our incoming Chair (this occurs every other year).
• Appointing the auditors of the Foundation.
• Approving the acts of the Officers and Directors since the last AGM.
• Approving the Financial Statements of the OJCF for the fiscal period ended.
