The Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation is delighted to be delivering and implementing the Harold Grinspoon Foundation’s LIFE & LEGACY initiative.
LIFE & LEGACY is a tested, proven and successful four-year program during which we will team up with local Jewish organizations to ensure their future financial success. The objective of the initiative is to secure legacy gifts in support of building and securing our local Jewish organizations.

What is the LIFE & LEGACY initiative?
LIFE & LEGACY is a four-year partnership initiative of the HGF that assists communities across North America, through partnerships with Jewish Foundations, to promote after-lifetime giving to benefit Jewish day schools, synagogues, social service organizations and other Jewish entities.
Through training, support and monetary incentives LIFE & LEGACY motivates Jewish organizations to secure legacy gifts, steward donors and integrate legacy giving into the philanthropic culture of the Jewish community.
Every member of the Jewish community has been touched by one or more of these organizations.
Now is your chance to make sure these institutions can thrive in perpetuity. You can assure continuity of services and programs in Jewish Ottawa by making a legacy gift in your will or estate plan. Within this special partnership, you can then choose one or more of these partner organizations to benefit from your gift. It’s simple and yet very powerful.
